I went a little more heavy on the spices. About 3/4 tsp on the turkey and then I used Italian seasoning to account for the herbs on the potatoes, threw some parsley on there. And cooked. I then cooked some eggs and made them cheesy (because I’m a cheesy guy), and made a burrito (I went rogue) and omg this was the best thing. I am meal prepping this 10000%. This recipe will live on. Looks good. smells good. I used ground turkey, and put in zucchini and cooked the cabbage in with the meal. Used home made sauce and sweet potatoes for a healthier no sugar dish. Thank you. We get tired of the same old dishes. This one I will use again.

So so good! I didn’t have some of the spices on hand so I replaced them with Italian seasoning and it worked well. Love the chili powder in here, it gave it a nice kick.

So…I am giving it five stars because I think the recipe itself is great and it will be a good meal in the future, but I would dock one or two stars for the meal I consumed, using the “traditional rice” option that was one of the recommendations of what to serve it over. I had a migraine when I made this so all I was looking for was “is this easy?” and “do I have all the necessary ingredients?” – the answer to this was yes, because I did have some leftover rice ready to go. I put zero thought, until I started eating it, into that reality that potatoes and rice is kind of a weird combination.

I do see how this would be amazing over broccoli, or a veggie medley, and look forward to making this again in the future – but I do not recommend this with rice.

Delicious, for lack of ingredients substituted cumin for chili powder, and cilantro for parsley, 1/2 the tomato sauce due to acid sensitivity. Loved this simple and tasty recipe, and tomatoes cooked perfectly. Making again soon! Thank you
