Making this tomorrow night for a Bible Study group. One of the ladies is gluten and dairy free, so especially keeping her in mind! Thankful fir this recipe as it looks delicious!!
Would other fresh fruits work as well, such as blackberries?

I LOVE making dessert in the cast iron pan. Not only does it cook quickly (and taste amazing), but it looks so impressive when you pop that pan in the middle of the table with something amazing as a cobbler sitting in it. This cobbler sounds all kinds of yum, loving that addition of the orange juice and zest for an extra little pop of freshness! yum

How did you know that I love blueberries AND skillet desserts? This is such a gorgeous recipe, Christina! That gorgeous crumbly almond dough on top is just calling for me to reach in and pluck a piece when no one is looking. 🙂 I’ve been trying baking more and more with almond and coconut flours, and I can’t wait to cozy up to a pan of this on a chilly night.

I absolutely adore a good cobbler. Blueberry is always a favorite. I really like your crumble topping rather than a heavier biscuit or pastry topping. The applesauce in the dough is such a great idea to use as a binder, as well as adding natural sweetness.

I really love the whole concept! One pot — easy — flavorful. We enjoy rustic unstructured desserts. This treat would be ideal during a busy time of the week. And I would serve it with a scoop of homemade ice cream. And the touch of almonds adds to the crunchy top.

I am such a fan of baked blueberries in a skillet! I’m a firm believer that almonds and blueberries are a match made in heaven… And I love it that you added coconut flour to this as well. That only tops out the flavor combo in my opinion. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
